    Abstract:

    This book introduce 40 royal tombs of the Joseon Dynasty, from Geonwlleung of King Taejo to Yureung of Emperor Sunjong, all located withtin a 40 kilometer radius of the old center of Seoul. The burial mounds and stone carvings are presented in photographs that capture the royal burial grounds at their best times of the year, along with compact descriptions.
