Abstract

นิทรรศการความร่วมมือระหว่างพิพิธภัณฑ์และชุมชนท่าเตียน (ชุมชนที่มีมิวเซียมสยามเป็นส่วนหนึ่ง) โดยชุมชนมีส่วนร่วมในการสนับสนุนทั้งวัตถุจัดแสดงและการถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวที่สะท้อนทั้งความต่อเนื่องและความเปลี่ยนแปลงของชุมชนที่มีพัฒนาการมาอย่างยาวนานกว่า 5 ศตวรรษ และในอนาคตอันใกล้ ชุมชนแห่งนี้กำลังเผชิญหน้ากับความท้าทายในการปรับตัวเมื่อรถไฟฟ้าใต้ดินมาถึง

Tha Tian: Where Bangkok city was born exhibition emerged out of a profound collaboration between Museum Siam and the Tha Tian community, to which Museum Siam belongs. What maked this exhibition so highly values is the community's involvement and contributions in lending objects and sharing stories that reflect the continuities and changes in the more than five-centuries years old Tha Tian community, including the challenges presented by the coming underground MRT.
