Abstract
The Magic of Kneaded Clay means a magnificent process in which raw materials are turned into perdurable vessels. However, the success of this process is conditioned by various factors. As described in a letter written by Père François Xavier d'Entrecolles(1664-1741), French missionary worked in Eighteenth century Jingdezhen, it is extremely difficult to make pottery.
