พิพิธภัณฑ์แห่งชาติไต้หวันได้ออกแบบอาคาร สถานที่เพื่อรองรับผู้ที่มาเข้าชมนิทรรศการที่พิพิธภัณฑ์จัดขึ้น โดยภายในนิทรรศการได้นำเสนอเกี่ยวกับเรื่อง วิวัฒนาการของคน ประเทศไต้หวันในยุคแรก ความแตกแต่งและความหลากหลายของวัฒนธรรมในประเทศไต้หวัน การอพยพของชาวจีนสู่ประเทศไต้หวัน ลักษณะทางภูมิศาสตร์และอื่นๆ อีกมากมายที่สามารถทำให้ผู้เข้าชมรับรู้ถึงความเป็นมาของประเทศไต้หวันได้ดียิ่งขึ้น
