หนังสือรวบรวมภาพเหตุการณ์ต่างๆของความสัมพันธ์ของไทยและมาเลเซียตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1957-2007 หรือตั้งแต่สมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว โดยมีทั้ง เอกสารทางราชการ จดหมาย ภาพถ่ายที่สำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์ตั้งแต่เริ่มแรกของความสัมพันธ์จนถึงปัจจุบัน เพื่อเป็นความทรงจำอันดีของความสัมพันธ์อันแสนยาวนาน และเพื่อการเฉลิมฉลองความสัมพันธ์ของไทยและมาเลเซียเนื่องในวาระครบรอบ 50 ปี
